Welcome to WELS F-M Churches! We have been in Western Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota area for almost a century serving both the WELS family and the local community.

With joy in our hearts, we invite you to come and learn more about Jesus - how he changes your life and eases your burden. We will look together at what God has to say about sin. We will rejoice together to hear how Jesus took away our sin. We will meditate on the ways in which God watches over us as we live for him, knowing all he has done for us, his children.

You can expect to be welcomed by people who are happy you’ve come. We are here to help you feel comfortable. Feel free to ask any questions.

In the worship area you will be given a folder to guide you through the service. Choose any seat you like. The open one is reserved for you. 😁

For Kids

We love having children in church and welcoming families to worship together.

During some services, children will be invited to come to the front for an age-appropriate message. All children are welcome to stay in worship, but those participating in our Sunday School program (ages 4-8th grade) will head to their rooms after the worship service.

If you need a quiet space for your 0-3 year old, we have cry rooms ready for you. You will be able to hear and see the service in this room. We also have busy bags with quiet activities available.

Worship at WELS F-M Churches

During the service we will sing, read from the Bible, listen to a message, and pray. You are welcome to participate or simply observe. We are just happy you’re here.

After worship services, we enjoy refreshments and each other’s company. It’s a great time to connect. We also have education opportunities available. If you can’t stay, we understand. We look forward to seeing you again next time.

Walking through the doors of a new church can be hard. Learn more about what to expect at worship at WELS F-M Churches, what your kids will experience and more.

Our worship time is typically 60 minutes.

Please dress however you are most comfortable. For everyone that is going to be a little bit different. You will see a wide variety. Hopefully that communicates how you dress is not as important as the fact that you’re here.

Families are always invited to worship with each other during our services. During some services, the pastor will invite the children to the front for a message prepared just for them.

After the service, the children the children are invited to attend Sunday School. Our Sunday School program provides age-appropriate lessons and activities for children age 4-8th grade with loving teachers excited to teach them.

If you need a quiet space for your child, we have cry rooms available. You will be able to hear and see the service in this room. We also have busy bags with quiet activities available.

Our worship style is joyful! We are so thankful that Jesus saved us we can’t help but joyfully offer our praise and thanks.

We do this by having an order to our worship that focuses on God and what he’s done through Jesus.

We sing songs and hymns that remind us of this truth and are chosen to joyfully express praise and thanks that comes from a life changed by Jesus. Sunday morning worship services have a blend of organ and piano-led traditional and contemporary hymns. But all of them are chosen to joyfully express praise and thanks that comes from a life changed by Jesus.

Finally, we read the Bible and listen to a message that gives the reason for joy–Jesus. He’s what it’s all about. That’s why it’s joyful!

That is a great question! We offer introductory classes that explore the Bible to better understand Christianity. These courses provide the opportunity to discover what God’s Word says no matter what kind of prior knowledge you have.

Sessions are offered at various times, days, and locations to encourage open discussion and honest questions.
